Keynote Speakers:

Cultivating Meaningful Connections through Academic Advising

Keynote presenters Kathy Davis and Dr. Jennifer Joslin will relate the work of Dr. Brene Brown in Atlas of the Heart to our work advising college students. Meaningful relationships are built through knowing and applying the language of human emotion, practicing compassion and empathy, respecting appropriate boundaries, and building trust with students by honoring the sacred nature of their stories.
