The MACADA Outstanding Academic Advisor Awards recognize outstanding advisors in three sub-categories:

Eligibility:
Any individual serving as an academic advisor, faculty academic advisor, or advising administrator and employed by a regionally accredited post-secondary institution may be nominated. MACADA membership is not required. Currently elected or appointed MACADA board members are not eligible. Previous MACADA Outstanding Advising Award winners from the past five years are not eligible. Only one nominee per category from each institution will be considered.
Award:
The individuals in each category will be awarded a certificate, one year MACADA membership, and conference registration.
The MACADA Pacesetter Award recognizes administrators who exemplify a
commitment to academic advising and are advocates for advising and
student success.
Eligibility:
Individuals nominated should be up-line administrators and
have no direct involvement with or responsibility for the
administration of advisors or advising. The nominee need not be a
MACADA member. Previous winners are not eligible.
Award:
The individual selected will be awarded a certificate, one year MACADA membership, and conference registration.
This scholarship provides graduate students pursuing a degree in a
related field with an interest in academic advising an opportunity to
attend the MACADA annual conference.
Eligibility:
Individuals should be graduate students pursuing advanced education in programs related to academic advising, student support, higher education administration, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Award:
The individual selected will be invited to attend the annual MACADA Conference in the fall as a guest of the MACADA Executive Board and will receive a complimentary one year MACADA membership and conference registration.
